Dr. Nandini Rangaswamy
Director, Cognizant Foundation
I was inducted into the Cognizant Foundation board very recently. And, my experience of interacting with other distinguished members of the board and being a witness to the wonderful work that Cognizant Foundation has been engaged in, has been truly satisfying. The newly launched ‘programme approach’ to disbursement and utilisation of the larger funds from Cognizant Foundation is meant to provide a deeper and wider penetration of its benefits to the society. India is poised to achieve a higher-than-average growth rate in the years to come. To become a US$ 5 trillion country, we would need a larger pool of highly skilled youth, education for all, and a healthier nation. The focus areas of the Foundation have also been these. Identifying value-based NGOs with unimpeachable integrity and routing our funding through them to those who would execute our projects would be key to the success of Cognizant Foundation’s mission. I am very sure that Cognizant Foundation is moving in the right direction in serving India. I will continue to support our larger purpose and vision. – Dr. Nandini Rangaswamy, Director, Cognizant Foundation
