Facilitating ICT in classrooms in Pune schools

Cognizant Foundation (CF) has extended support to Grammangal a Pune based NGO to implement Digital Classrooms in two of their schools as part of its focus on Digital Learning and STEM Education. 

With the increased need for implementation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in classroom education, this support helps in giving exposure to students and generate interest in technology, leading to increase in their learning levels.

Headquartered in Pune, Grammangal works for innovations in education in preschool, primary, and upper primary school.  Grammangal runs two Schools in Palghar district with 450 students from pre-school to 10th standard. All students studying in these schools belong to very poor (Below Poverty Line) families from nearby villages of Palghar District.

CF has extended support to Grammangal for setting up a Computer Library and Digital classrooms in the two schools – Grammangal Muktashala, Aine, Dahanu and Grammangal Anutai Wagh Shikshan Kendra, Vikramgad, in Palghar, benefitting a total number of 450 Students and 35 teachers.
