Wireless assistive hearing device for hearing-impaired children

Suniye works in the field of education and employment for hearing impaired children. Since 1995, Suniye  has been running a support school totally free of charge for hearing-impaired children, which encourages inclusive education and helps in developing speech and language. Over the last 20 years, they have helped over 1000 students from low-income backgrounds.

CF supported Suniye for the purchase of FM transmitter equipment to help the children listen to sounds clearly. The FM transmitter is a wireless assistive hearing device that enhances the use of hearing aids and cochlear implants, in particular over large distances and in noisy environments. CF also extended support for the provision of hearing aids for a few economically impoverished students.
