State-of-the-art Computer Laboratory for rural students

The Swami Dayananda Vidhyashram was established in response to the absence of a proper, full-fledged and dedicated school in the Karagur belt, Dharmapuri District to cater to underprivileged students in this region. Launched in 2014, this co-educational school provides a solid foundation for the children. The parents of the children are mostly agricultural labourers or daily wage workers. The school follows a student centric and activity based curriculum. The school has sections from Kindergarten to 5th Standard and has 250 students currently.

Karagur is a hamlet located eight kilometers from Palacode town in Dharmapuri District, Tamil Nadu. AIM (All India Movement) for Seva based at Chennai, a pan-India non-profit charitable trust, has been running a free student hostel for girls boys since 2011 in this place and has been helping the poor and needy children of the area by providing food, shelter, academic help and extra-curricular activities, free of cost.

In March 2017, CF supported AIM for Seva for the setting up of a Computer Laboratory and for Classroom Furniture for the Vidhyashram.
